A Security Risk Assessment (or SRA) is a strategic evaluation of a business, organization, and/or school entity's facilities and programs used to identify potential safety and security threats. Specifically, the assessments completely by G-Force Security Solutions focus on the evaluation of the safety and security of an entity's physical environment, and all related policies and training. It’s important to understand that a security risk assessment isn’t a one-time security project. Rather, it’s a continuous activity that should be conducted at least once every other year. Continuous assessment provides an organization with a current and up-to-date snapshot of threats and risks to which it is exposed.
What are the steps of a Security Risk Assessment?
A Security Risk Assessment is a labor-intensive process tailored to match the company or school's plan or scope in making its facility a safer environment. An assessment typically takes 30 - 60+ days and includes the phases outlined below. Initial Consultation

Onsite Evaluation
Next, our team of experts will spend time at your facility to perform an onsite review of such items as policies, procedures, physical security attributes of the building(s), etc.
Analysis
G-Force uses the information and data obtained during the onsite evaluation to identify any/all threats, vulnerabilities, internal controls, etc...
Report
Finally, a comprehensive Risk Assessment Report is prepared that outlines any/all threats, vulnerabilities, and risks. The report includes recommendations on how to improve the safety and security of your facility.

Our Situational Awareness Training employs specific methods such as Run, Hide, Fight for active shooter situations, and de-escalation techniques to mitigate potential liability or injury when tensions run high in an emergency. Simulated exercises can be customized based on a previous Security Risk Assessment to help identify areas of threat and vulnerability, or to train your staff on what to do with updated emergency protocols recently put into action.
